The cover of her first children’s book, H is for Hawkeye: An Iowa Alphabet, depicts her parent’s farm. Also close to her heart, the beautiful Grotto of Redemption, representing the letter G, is a must-see attraction in her childhood hometown of West Bend, Iowa.

Patricia’s second release, Numbers in a Row: An Iowa Number Book, continues to showcase Iowa’s history, people, places, agriculture, and industry. With fond memories of her high school athletic days, this companion book to the alphabet book shares part of Iowa’s girls’ six-on-six basketball history. As a proud Loras College alumna, Patricia’s fondness for Dubuque shows on the beautifully illustrated pages of 8 paddlefish swimming at the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium.
