Author Patricia Pierce reads aloud to students. Important facts about Iowa are highlighted in fun and engaging ways. Students practice the fundamental aspects of rhyme, rhythm, and meter.
Hook and Sinker - Opening and Closing Techniques
This presentation is designed for 3rd to 5th grade.
Students analyze opening and closing techniques using Numbers in a Row: An Iowa Number Book. Engaging and constructive activities provide strategies to improve students' writing skills.
