Presentation is appropriate for 3rd to 5th grades. Students follow my writing journey from idea to publication. It’s an inside peak to the publishing world. Original notes, manuscripts, and research material can be viewed. The complete typeset pages for review of each book before being sent to press and marketing information will also be shared.
Learning About Iowa – As Easy as A, B, C and 1, 2, 3
Presentation is aimed for 4th grade, but appropriate for 3rd to 5th. The program includes highlights of Iowa state facts, history, places, people, agriculture and industry.
Workshop – Hook and Sinker
This workshop is designed for 3rd to 5th grade. Using Numbers in a Row: An Iowa Number Book, students analysis opening and closing techniques. This engaging and constructive workshop provides strategies to improve student writing skills.
